Reforestation means adapting to the annual cycle of Nature, particularly rainfall
At the location where arboRise harvests and sows the seeds, the rainy season begins in May and ends in October (the figures in the graph show the amount of rainfall in millimetres). At this time, it is very difficult to move around and you simply have to let the seeds grow.
The arboRise activity thus begins in November when the partnership with each family of farmers is renewed to ensure the harvesting of the seeds of their tree.
The first seeds are harvested as early as March and the harvest can extend until May for certain species. Seeds are coated at the beginning of April and sowing takes place in the middle of April.
